GIVE A LITTLE LOVE

GIVE A LITTLE LOVE....to our animal friends. They certainly give a LOT of love to us!
Here's an idea...this is SO EASY TO DO if you want to:
1. Locate an animal shelter where you live (find it online)
2. Visit the shelter and become a volunteer. I became a volunteer and now I can go whenever I can to visit the loving dogs and cats there. They are ALWAYS happy to see me! Maybe it's because I walk the dawgs and always play with them...hmmm?! Whatever the reason for their wagging tails when they see a volunteer, they are happy and JOY-FULL that half an hour or so in your presence. It's very little to ask for. As a volunteer, you can help in ANY WAY you choose (walking dogs, spending time with them, helping with work at the shelter, helping with fundraising....whatever your skill is, you can help out)! It's great!
3. GIVE LOVE & RECEIVE LOVE
Their lives in the shelter are limited (usually after the dogs have not been claimed at the shelter for 3-4 days here in California, they are killed. It's the law, unless they are at a pro-life shelter), and they seem extremely happy to get any attention and love they receive.
So just in case you forgot how BEautiful it is to be able to give a little love to a dog or cat at your local shelter, this is a loving reminder. It can fit into anyone's schedule and is guaranteed to bring love into your heart. 5 minutes or 2 hours...your choice.
One more thing, check out two of my heroes here on zaadz / gaia. You probably already know them by now. Their dedicated passion for animals continues to inspire me greatly!
