WHERE DO WE START?

So many things that are wrong these days...butchering eachother, factory farming animals, overconsumption (getting PHATTT and SICK), poisoning eachother, controlling one another, GREED, FEAR, IGNORANCE.....and that's just the beginning.
Achieving individual balance and harmony is GREAT, but how does that help solve the issues we all face as a GROUP? Meditation is a great tool. Howeva, meditating AND getting involved in making progress happen IS AMAZING.
Where do you stand?
Much love,

Help

Well we take one day at a time. Show compassion to all, it starts one day at a time. One smile at a time and lots of love to go around.
I love that thought, Shyloh. I agree with you. I also believe that many people need a wakeup call (those who do not care about what’s wrong, those who use, abuse, kill and destroy OUR collective energy, resources and other beings on OUR Earth.) Ignorance has been tolerated for a looong time and it has taken us to a horrible place. At the same time, if there was no ignorance and hate, there would be no compassion and love.
Hi Sixth. Didn’t read your blog earlier so sorry for the delayed response. Maybe it would be a good idea to make a list on the board of all human suffering, maybe some of us have the time to meditate on this list. It is already proven that this could help at least increase positive vibes around these issues with25 %. It’s just the critical mass that needs to be there….well we have a critical mass here at zaadz. I was talking about the rainforests yesterday with a new friend, there are so many issues that we need to address…..Besides this I agree fully with Shyloh, one day at a time…
Peace
Right on, Leendert! I feel ya. I am waiting for Zaadz to start up their tribe / pod feature so we can create tribes / pods and adequately expose / talk about this and other issues.
I agree with you that we need critical mass of people that think / create / do.
Much love,
Found this interesting event coming up. Check it out.
If it’s what I think it is, it will be a first-time-in-yo-life event:

Send it to others if you feel it could be something good for everyone.
Great post SixthSense. I am with you and the others on the need for critical mass to focus on solving many of the worlds challenges. I subscribe to the belief that if enough people focus(give energy to) on the solution and work toward making the shift happen, that those who “need a wakeup call” will have to get on board or they’ll get left behind….literally.
We’re in the energetic era now and much is getting done simply by shifting to positive vibes. I truly feel we are seeing Mother Earth culling the lower vibrations (through Tsunami, Hurricanes, BirdFlu, Fast Food, Etc) so that the vibration can be raised across the board for the preparation of the New World. Not a good/bad, right/wrong thing….. just an energetic clearing of sorts. Those who a resonating at a high vibration will remain and those who don’t, won’t. In the long run, the Earth will regain a harmonic balance and everything will be perfect. Is this to say I think we should just sit back and watch it happen? Heck no. There is still much to do to help her regain homeostatis…. eliminate factory farming, quit poisoning our land, increase sustainablilty, etc. But I dont’ see what is happening as a “tradgedy”….. what I see is enough bad happening to get the complacent humans off their butts and engaged. Unfortunately, for most…. it has to get pretty bad for that to happen. All we (like those at Zaadz) can do is keep our selves radiating as high as possible to help her shift the scales and to be examples to others as to what is possible….while at the same time, chipping away at our own little corner of the positive pie….giving love through our own personal passionate endeavors. And yes, one day at a time.
Just my theory.
LOVE that link. So glad to see these types of topics being brought to the mainstream. If it is what I think it is, it is powerful!

much love for a great post thanks Sixth
That was quite eloquent and eclectic, Shelly. Great view! I also feel that the “issues” we are facing are put there as a challenge and as a catalyst for change. However, people who are “sleeping” and doing destructive things are negatively affecting our environment, our collective health and weakening the young generation. There are forces that are putting that in place for a reason…sadly enough. It’s so hard to accept that reality. Knowing there are people like you who care and have an open heart and mind helps. One thing I feel is essential is helping people wake up. Inspiring people to look within is a hard task…ideas?
I agree with you about the catalyst thing….. knowing there is a sense of urgency tends to “fuel the fire” so to speak. And it is hard to accept that others are harming our beautiful planet and fellow beings of all ages and species. It breaks my heart if I choose to focus on it which is why I don’t. I do my best to focus on the positive solutions and give them energy instead so that I can stay at the Highest vibration possible.
Inspiring others to look within? Whew! That is a tough one. Can you really make someone do something they are not ready for? Interestingly enough, it seems like it is the hard times in life that send people looking elsewhere for answers which generally means within. That is why I say the “issues” are not such a bad thing. They send people looking for better answers. But we could go round and round with that.
So here’s one way that comes to mind to inspire people right off. I used this alot with my coaching clients. The secret was to get them talking about something they love. This takes a genuine ear and a compassionate heart, but it doesn’t take listening very long to key into passions that surface in conversations. Once you catch a hidden dream or love underlying in their words, you bring that forth and get them talking about that. Humans love to talk about their dreams, they want to know that other people care about those dreams and they want to be told that someone believes in them. I find this is one of the greatest ways to create change in the world. If we all went about recognizing and supporting others dreams (which for the most part are always postivie) there would be a whole lot more people chasing those dreams and thus would have a lot less time to mess up the world. Add to that, letting them know their lives matter, their voice matters, they are uniquely special and they are loved…… well that is a cocktail for success that I will toast to. When people start to love themselves, they begin to love those around them….which leads to loving and caring for the planet.
So I guess the short answer(which you are by now finding is impossible for me :-) is to help others love themselves first, believe in themselves, create high self-worth and self-esteem and then that is what they will spread in the world.
This is a great post. It has inspired me to go within to find my own answers to the questions you are asking…. which was what you were shooting for in the first place. So there is another way…. Just ask people how they feel about a subject and then get creative together as to how it might be made better.
Shelly, I love your thoughtz….from your other posts I feel your passions. It is a pleasure to be connected with you in this e-way. I feel passions of many others through their wordz.
Now the challenge that remains is affecting the other population and discovering their passions. Once you love humanity, you care about those around you, don’t you? AND you are passionate about their wellbeing (that goes for animals as well!)
Doing this on mass scale would be great but that requires media exposure.
I share in the connection pleasure SixthSense. There is a great deal of passion going on round here.
I agree with you on the media exposure. Once we make it cool to be kind, a lot will shift. That is why I love conscious movie and music making so much. I’ve been following a production company that makes movies for the Hallmark channel for a while simply because the message that they are spreading is so positive. Every movie I have see of thiers speaks of humanity and dreams and overcoming adversity and kindness toward others. It is a big statement in a industry that often times relys on blowing things up to sell tickets. This particular group focuses on more old-fashioned themes… lots of horses involved, but it could be done with any focus. I really think the world is hungry for it…. proof being….. look how well Crash did at the Academies last night. That was a movie that made you think about what we are doing to each other in the world.
And look at all the positive messages in the ads during the super bowl. If there weren’t a market for hybrids and “female empowerment” and “following dreams” those companies wouldn’t be spending all that dough to run the ads. I think it is a good sign that they are shifting in that direction even if they are tugging on heartstrings to sell more porduct. If the product promotes sustainability, I’m all for it!
And onto one of your passions (according to your profile)…. music. I immediately think of Bon Jovi’s new one “Have A Nice Day”. It’s not all fluffy and spiritual, yet all the songs have a great message. I’d like to K-test that album for vibrational frequency. I bet it is pretty high. Looking at the rap sector…. I see Kanye and 50 as the rare few that spead a good message, but good for them for being the examples. It can go there even more. We just have to get artists to understand that what they are prucing is WAY more than just a good sound. Their words have the ability to change the world.
Stepping down off of soapbox now. :-)
Glad to be sharing this conversation.

I always thing of the Buddha saying. We all move as fast as the slowest soul, Enlightenment is NOT the end. I love Buddha for saying (to me)(after he obtained enlightenment) I will be the last entering Nirvana, I could not enjoy the pleasure and bliss of being in the Nirvana knowing so many souls are still out there struggling. That is why I try to live up to the same principle. I will not rest or sit or sleep, in peace as long as there are still brothers and sisters who WANT to change but need our help to accomplish this. I rest my case.
Much Love
